bar code module

Any one have an idea on how to convert a module to inches??

    I finally found out. On bar codes, you must have a 9 modules free zone on the right and left of the bar codes. The module is the smallest bar in the pattern at 100%.

      That's some pretty specific knowledge you have there! Not sure I know what a 'module' is!

      I've only created one bar code, and that was based on a 13 digit ISBN number, so that was easy enough.

        Normally bar coding software will put a white box around the code and this allows enough room. but for some reason this client had the bar code made somewhere else and they didn't include the background box.
